The name undersells it: the course measures 13.5 kilometres with 300 metres of ascent, run on the trails around Cēsis in the heart of Gauja National Park. The organiser publishes the profile, map and GPX as downloads, and the race page describes it simply as Nordic nature around the town. On the last afternoon of the weekend it shares Cēsis with the finishers of the 50 K coming in from Ratnieki.

Bibs are collected at the expo in Cēsis from 6 August. Three hours for 13.5 km leaves room for walking the climbs, so the race suits runners new to trail as well as those who want a fast hour in the forest. The organiser’s page gives the start as 14:00.
