E51 - Panorama Trail
Fifty-one kilometres and 3,100 metres of ascent on the best-looking half of the long course: the climb to First, the shore of the Bachalpsee, the haul up the Faulhorn at 2,681 metres and the high traverse with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau across the valley the whole way. The descent back into Grindelwald is long and steep enough to decide the race for anyone who spent too much above two thousand metres.
The limit is thirteen hours, which puts the entire race inside one Alpine day. This page belongs to the 2027 running of the E51, with that year’s gun and course. On Livebib, supporters watch the runner move along the real line rather than refreshing a results list: live position, aid-station splits, the climb ahead drawn as it is, and an arrival estimate for the finish arch in Grindelwald.
