A single closed road lap of Ealing

The Wizz Air Ealing Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile race on a single lap of fully closed roads through Ealing in West London.

The 2027 race starts at 9:00 on Sunday 26 September 2027. The Ealing Feeling 5K starts alongside it at 9:05, from the race village and start in Walpole Park, and the Ealing Mini Mile for children is on Saturday 25 September. The weekend is delivered by RaceNation Events Ltd in support of We Run Ealing, its not for profit arm, which invests the surplus in local projects.

The half marathon is on a UKA registered course with a 3 hour cut-off, chip timing and water stations at miles 4, 5.5 and 9 and at the finish. Entry includes a medal and a T-shirt. The organiser expects over 30,000 spectators and 700 volunteers, and the event has raised over £3.5 million for charity since it began.

The 5K is new, on fully closed roads with the same atmosphere as the half, and suits first time racers and families, with a medal and timing chip included. Charity partners include Meadow House Hospice, ShootingStar Children's Hospice and CAPE.

The organiser calls it West London's biggest running event and its only fully road closed half marathon, and 8,000 runners took part across the 2026 weekend.
