Demi-marathon de Lévis, live.

A fast, descending half on the south shore of Québec City

The Demi-marathon de Lévis Promutuel Assurance returns to the south shore of Québec City on the weekend of 1 and 2 May 2027.

Part of the Je Cours Qc series, the Lévis half marathon gathers thousands of participants each spring. The 2026 edition sold out for the fourth year in a row, with a record 10,000 participants expected, and registrations up 21 percent on 2025.

The weekend offers the 21.1 km Promutuel Assurance, the 10 km Sports Experts, the 5 km Lévis Subaru and a 2 km kids race. The organiser describes a descending, fast course. On the 2026 route, given as an indication, the half marathon started at Galeries Chagnon, ran 4 km through neighbourhood streets, then followed the Parcours des Anses bike path with views of the river and Québec City before finishing at the Juvénat Notre-Dame in Saint-Romuald. The 10 km and the 5 km started on the bike path and finished at the same place.

The 5, 10 and 21.1 km courses are measured to international standards and certified by Athletics Canada, so half marathon times count as qualifying times for races such as the New York City Marathon. In 2026 the shorter races were on Saturday and the half marathon on Sunday, with a 4 hour limit.

Spectators can follow the riverside bike path and gather at the finish in Saint-Romuald. Registration for 2027 is open.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. That position comes from the participant, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
