Over the Scaletta and Sertig passes from Davos
The Davos X-Trails offer six trail races in Davos Klosters on 23 and 24 July 2027, from a Friday evening vertical to a 68 km route over three passes.
The longest race, the Diamond, starts in Davos on Saturday 24 July at 07:00 and covers 68.37 km with 3,309 m of climbing and descent. It runs up the Dischmatal to the Scalettapass, along the Panoramatrail to the Sertigpass, over the Fanezfurgga to Monstein and back via the Jatzmeder and the Sertig valley, with a 14 hour limit. It can also be run by teams of three over sections of 31, 26 and 11 km. The Gold, 42.93 km with 1,711 m, starts at the same time and shares the first and last parts of the Diamond route over the Scaletta and Sertig passes.
The Silver starts at 09:40 on the station square in Klosters and runs 23.76 km to the Sportzentrum in Davos, climbing 870 m through Monbiel, the Stützbach gorge and over the Wolfgangpass at 1,631 m before passing the Davosersee. The Bronze, 9.27 km from 08:30, loops from Davos to Clavadel and back through the forests. On Friday 23 July at 18:15 the 1K Vertical climbs 1,080 m over 6.94 km from the Sportzentrum to the Jakobshorn, and the kids' races open the event that afternoon.
Finishers of the Diamond, Gold and Silver earn ITRA points, and the three races are UTMB Index races. The organiser warns that temperatures can drop below freezing with snow above 2,000 m at any time, so suitable clothing is required on every course.
The Swiss Runners Ticket covers travel to and from Davos by public transport within Switzerland. Trains run between Davos and Klosters every 30 minutes, and the finish area is 700 m from Davos Platz station.
On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Davos X-Trails.
