Ninety kilometres of closed road through four Sardinian towns

Challenge Forte Village is a two-day triathlon weekend at the Forte Village Resort in Pula, on the south coast of Sardinia, on 24 and 25 October 2026. Everything starts and ends at the resort: the swims are in the sea in front of it and the sprint run stays inside it.

Sunday 25 October is the middle distance: one 1,900-metre lap in the sea in front of the resort, one 90-kilometre bike lap that the organiser describes as entirely closed to traffic, through Pula, Domus De Maria, Teulada and Sant’Anna Arresi, and two 10.5-kilometre run laps along the coastal road at Cala d’Ostia. Pro men start at 08:00, pro women at 08:02, age-group men at 08:05 and age-group women at 08:07. The organiser expects the first finishers around 11:50 and the last by 16:15. The race is listed as an official qualifier for The Championship.

At 08:10 the Tri Together relay starts on the same course: teams of three, one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner, who cross the finish line together. Saturday 24 October belongs to the sprint, 750 metres of swimming, two 10-kilometre bike laps and two run laps totalling 5 kilometres inside the resort, with the men starting at 10:00 and the women at 10:05. A kids’ duathlon runs in the afternoon, and an aquabike race shares Sunday with the middle distance.

On Livebib an athlete shares a link to their own broadcast. Family and friends open it in a browser, with no account or app, and see the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. The two run laps at Cala d’Ostia are where spectators see an athlete twice, and the estimate says when. If the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
