Cambridge Half Marathon, live.

A flat half marathon past the Cambridge colleges

The Cambridge Half Marathon is a flat 13.1 mile road race through Cambridge's historic streets and university grounds, based on Midsummer Common.

The Cambridge Half Marathon returns on Sunday 14 March 2027. The event village is on Midsummer Common, on Victoria Avenue, with the charity village and activities for children. The race has had more than 125,000 finishers and sells out quickly every year, so the organiser runs a pre-registration list for 2027 entries.

The course is 13.1 miles on a flat, fast route past Cambridge's best known landmarks, through college courtyards and out into the countryside around the city. The course is UK Athletics certified, and pacers run throughout the field.

That makes it a popular choice both for a first half marathon and for a personal best attempt. Every finisher receives a medal, a finisher bag and the option of a free finisher t-shirt, and there is free post-race massage. Many of the official charity partners already have places for 2027.

More than 50 charity partners work with the race, and it raised over £1.8 million in 2026. The organiser promises musicians, cheer zones and spectators lining every mile of the course.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live when they choose to share the position of the phone they carry. That is their own position, not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
