Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon, live.

Twenty editions on the streets of Bucharest

The Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon is the October road race weekend in the Romanian capital, finishing in Piața Constituției.

The 20th edition is on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October 2027. It is organised by the Bucharest Running Club together with the Romanian Athletics Federation and Bucharest City Hall. The kit pickup is in Piața Constituției on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 October from 16:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday.

The marathon starts on Sunday at 9:00 on Bulevardul Libertății by Parcul Izvor and finishes in Piața Constituției. The course is AIMS certified, fully asphalt and marked every kilometre, with a limit of 6 hours. The half marathon of 21.097 km starts at the same time with a 3 hour limit.

On Saturday at 9:00 the 10 km sets off in start sectors and has a 90 minute limit, which suits people coming back to racing or trying the distance for the first time. Teams can also run the marathon as a relay of 10, 10, 10 and 12.2 km, and the Fun Race on Saturday, which is not timed, is open from the age of 12.

October in Bucharest is usually mild, with temperatures of 10 to 20 C at this time of year. Spectators have the easiest view around Piața Constituției, where the finish and the kit pickup are.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Bucharest Marathon.
