Media Maratón de Bogotá, live.

Colombia's big half marathon through the capital

The Media Maratón de Bogotá, known as the mmB, brings a 21K and a 10K through the streets of Bogotá on Sunday 25 July 2027.

The Media Maratón de Bogotá is organised by Correcaminos de Colombia and has held 26 editions so far. The organiser counts more than one million participants over its history, from more than 69 countries, and more than 40,000 people line up each year. World Athletics has recognised the race with its road race labels since 2009. The 2027 race is on Sunday 25 July.

There are two distances on different routes and at different times. The 21K starts at 8:30 with the elite field and the first wave, and further waves follow every eight minutes. The 10K starts at 10:00 in the same way. Participants gather on the Plaza de Eventos in Parque Simón Bolívar, the starts are on Carrera 60 between Calle 63 and Calle 53, and the finish is on Calle 63 by the footbridge at Parque de los Niños. The 10K also has a wheelchair category.

The 21K is open from age 18 and the 10K from age 14. Along the courses there are service islands with water, sports drink, first aid and toilets, nine of them on the 21K at km 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19.

Bib and kit pickup is compulsory and happens at the Expomedia in Corferias on 22, 23 and 24 July 2027. Nothing is handed out on race morning, and anyone who cannot go in person can send an authorised person in their place.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. The official results come from the organiser of the Media Maratón de Bogotá.
