A run and walk for blood donation in Örebro

Blodomloppet Örebro is a run and walk for blood donation, starting and finishing at Trängens IP in Örebro on 27 May 2027.

Blodomloppet Örebro is the Örebro stop of Blodomloppet, a series of runs and walks that draws attention to blood donation. It is organised by IF Start together with Blodcentralerna in Örebro, and people take part on their own or in teams with colleagues, friends and family. The organiser counted 3946 participants in 2026.

Start and finish are at Trängens IP. The courses follow cycle and footpaths around the western parts of Örebro. The ground is mostly asphalt, with some gravel and grass, and the finish is on the grass inside Trängens IP. The 10 km has some hills in several places and water after about 4 km and 7 km. The 5 km crosses over and under the motorway but is otherwise flat, with water after about 3 km.

The day offers 10 km, 5 km as a run or a walk, Specialomloppet over about 2.1 km, and Lilla Blodomloppet for children over about 750 m or 2.1 km. The 750 m course runs between buildings and football pitches at Trängens IP. Timing applies to the 5 and 10 km runs.

For those who come to watch, the children start first and the longer distances follow later, with prize giving from the stage at Trängens IP. The organiser notes that its information will be updated for 2027. A participant can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from their phone, so family and friends can follow from home. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organiser.
