Walk, jog or run for blood donation in Hudiksvall

Blodomloppet Hudiksvall is a fitness event for blood donation, with start and finish at Glysisvallen / Holmen Arena in Hudiksvall.

Blodomloppet Hudiksvall is part of Blodomloppet, a fitness event held in many towns across Sweden to draw attention to blood donation. In Hudiksvall it is organised by Strands IF Friidrott together with GeBlod G\u00e4vleborg, and the 2027 edition takes place on 25 May. People walk, jog or run, and in 2026 the field counted 2127 participants.

Start and finish are at Glysisvallen / Holmen Arena, and the organiser describes courses that run through the town and along the water. The timed races start on Promenaden, the street outside the sports ground, and the finish is inside the ground. Drinks are handed out in Borgarparken for everyone and at Gr\u00e4smaln for the 10 km.

There are four options. 10 km with timing, 5 km with timing, a 5 km walk without timing, and Lilla Blodomloppet, 800 m for children. In the programme published so far, Lilla Blodomloppet starts at 17.30, the 10 km at 18.30 and the timed 5 km at 18.50, with the untimed 5 km right after. The organiser notes that this information will be updated for 2027.

For those who come to watch, Promenaden is closed to cars from Drottninggatan and parking near the arena is limited, so the organiser suggests bus, bike or walking. Every participant receives a medal at the finish. A person taking part can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from their phone, so friends and family can follow from home. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organiser.
