A run for blood donation in Stadsparken

Blodomloppet Eskilstuna is a walk, jog or run that highlights blood donation, with start and finish in Stadsparken in central Eskilstuna.

Blodomloppet Eskilstuna is part of the Blodomloppet series, an event that draws attention to blood donation. It is arranged by Eskilstuna Friidrott together with Unilabs Blodcentral, and people are welcome to walk, jog or run, with colleagues, friends or on their own. The organiser reports 980 participants in 2026, and the 2027 edition is on 6 September.

Start and finish are in Stadsparken in central Eskilstuna, near Kloster church. The adult course follows the riverside promenade and city streets such as Verkstadsgatan, Kungsgatan, Hamngatan and Strandgatan, passes through Rothoffsparken and returns to Stadsparken. The loop has been check measured at 5 000 m. Drinks are available at 5 km and at the finish.

The 5 km is one lap, timed or as a walk, and the 10 km is two laps with timing. Lilla Blodomloppet is for children up to 12 years over about 800 metres, and Specialomloppet is an 800 m race for participants with disabilities and any companions. Both stay inside Stadsparken. Timing uses net time, and results are posted on the organiser's website.

For those who come to watch, the event area is in Stadsparken, so the start, the finish and the children's race are all in one place. A participant can also choose to share their own live position on Livebib from their phone, so family and friends can follow from home. This is not the organiser's timing, and official results come from the organiser.
