Bieler Lauftage, live.

The 100 km through the night from Biel

The Bieler Lauftage in Biel/Bienne, on 11 and 12 June 2027, are built around the 100 km night run that the organiser calls the night of nights.

The 100 km course, unchanged in its essentials for decades, runs through the night and through more than 20 municipalities in two cantons. Only solo 100 km participants may have a cyclist alongside, and the bike escort joins in Lyss. The organiser's best list goes back to 1959.

The same distance can be shared. Teams of two or five run the 100 km as a relay, which is a good way for a club to experience the night without everyone running an ultra. There are also military categories.

For people who prefer shorter races, the weekend includes a half marathon over 21.1 km and a 10 km city loop. The 100 km suits experienced runners with long night runs behind them. Registration for 2027 opens in November, and the organiser has not yet published start times.

The 10 km runs on what the organiser calls an attractive city loop, a way to be part of the legendary night of nights without running the full distance. There is also a run for children, and the relay teams can replace an injured member before the race.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Bieler Lauftage.
