A night start across the Beskydy

Beskydská sedmička is a 100 km mountain ultratrail in the Beskydy mountains of the Czech Republic, starting in Třinec at night and finishing in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.

The 18th edition runs from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 August 2027. The mass start is on Friday at 23:00 at the STARS athletic stadium in Třinec, and the finish is on náměstí Míru in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, with a limit of 28 hours, so the course closes at 3:00 on Sunday. The organiser plans the same route as in 2025 and 2026.

The course runs over the main ridges of the Beskydy, with time gates at places such as Javorový, Morávka, Lysá hora, Ostravice, Smrk, Čeladná, Pustevny, Radhošť and Velký Javorník. Lysá hora has to be passed by 12:30 on Saturday. Aid stations stand at Řeka, Morávka, Krásná, Ostravice, Čeladná, Pustevny, Ráztoka, Pindula and Padolí, with soup at Ostravice and Pustevny.

New in 2027 is a relay for pairs, with 500 places: the first leg goes from Třinec to Ostravice and the second from Ostravice to Frenštát, in women's, men's and mixed categories. Solo entries cost 3,490 CZK and go through a preregistration and a draw, and the race is open from the age of 18. Results count towards ITRA.

Spectators can meet participants at the aid stations along the ridges or wait on the square in Frenštát. Accreditation is on Friday from 13:00 to 22:00 in the STARS sports hall in Třinec.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from Beskydská sedmička.
