Forty editions of the marathon in Belgrade

The Powerade Beogradski maraton is the spring road marathon of Belgrade, and the 2027 weekend is its 40th edition.

The 40th Belgrade Marathon is on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April 2027. It is organised by Beogradski maraton with the City of Belgrade as a sponsor, and the same organiser also runs a half marathon in November, a New Year race at Ušće and a 10 km in September.

The marathon covers the classic 42.195 km through Belgrade. The organiser has not yet published the 2027 race page with times and the full list of distances. At the 39th edition in April 2026 the marathon started on Sunday at 8:00, while the half marathon and a half marathon relay ran on Saturday at 9:00 and the 10 km on Saturday at 18:00.

In 2026 the half marathon went through Nemanjina, over Most na Adi into Novi Beograd and back across Brankov most, so the long races show both banks of the Sava. The runner zone was on Trg Republike and the expo in Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair. The marathon is open from the age of 18.

For people who want a big city spring marathon in the Balkans, this is the long standing one. Spectators find the easiest view in the centre around Trg Republike, and the bridges give a wide look at the field. Check the organiser's page for the 2027 programme before travelling.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Belgrade Marathon.
