Vasaloppet China 1.5 km

Vasaloppet China 1.5 km

Worldloppet lists it among the Vasa Fun Ski distances: a short course at Jingyuetan for skiers who want a start number and a finish line on race day without the forest-park lap. The organiser publishes the 1.5 km alongside the 25 and 50 km races, with the same 10:00 start after the 09:50 opening ceremony.

Short as it is, it is part of the same day as the marathon: the arena, the opening ceremony that belongs to Jilin’s snow and ice festival, and the Vasaloppet Museum on the arena site. It suits newcomers to cross-country skiing, children and supporters who want to ski before they go back to cheering.

This page is about the 2027 1.5 km. On Livebib the skier shares a link to their own broadcast, and those who open it see the position on the course and the distance covered, with a finish estimate that updates as they go. Anything estimated is marked as estimated, and nobody needs an account or an app to follow.
