The organiser calls it a varied and challenging course of about 12 km in beautiful, hilly country. Most of it runs on Rya Åsar’s hiking trail, Granstigen, then on via Rya Klint, Abborrsjön and the top of Björbobacken, and back around Ryssby Klint to the plateau. After three kilometres comes Djävulsbacken, a 300-metre hill with a little over 75 metres of climbing, so the hardest part is done early.

There are two aid stations with water and citrus sports drink: Rya Klint after about 4 km and Björbotoppen after about 7.5 km. The organiser writes that the course suits both newcomers to trail running and runners with many trail races behind them, and there is a team competition in which the four best times of a team of at least four count. Prize-giving for the 12 km is at about 14:40.
