Oslo Maraton

The full marathon distance on a route that keeps returning to the water: out along the Oslofjord at Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen, through the western districts and Frogner Park, back along the harbour and into the finish at Oslo Spektrum. It is a city course with more rise and fall in it than the profile suggests, and the September weather in Oslo can be anything from still and warm to horizontal rain off the fjord.
