10 for Grete

Ten kilometres from Oslo Spektrum along the fjord and back through the streets — the shortest race of the Oslo Maraton weekend and the one that carries Grete Waitz’s name, for the nine-time New York City Marathon winner who is the reason a great many Norwegians started running at all.

It fills with families, clubs and first-time racers, which makes the finish area the busiest and friendliest part of the day. This page belongs to the 2026 edition of 10 for Grete. On Livebib, friends and family follow the runner’s live position on the real route and get an arrival estimate for the finish at Oslo Spektrum — worth having on a race that can be over before a spectator has found their spot.
