Ten kilometres is Nyårsloppet’s longest distance and starts an hour after the 5 km. It has two classes for women and men: a competition class, where the leaders receive prizes at the finish, and a motion class, where prizes are drawn. The course follows asphalt park paths and roads in Vallentuna, and the organiser publishes its own course map for the distance. Because it is winter, the surface varies from year to year, and the organiser sometimes recommends studded shoes.

The adult fee is 300 SEK up to 1 December, 350 SEK until 20 December and 450 SEK after that; online entry stays open until the start and is paid by Swish or card, not cash. Bibs are collected on race day at Rosendalsskola södra. Every finisher gets a medal. This page covers Nyårsloppet 10 km 2026.

Ten kilometres on New Year’s Eve, with dinner on the stove at home.
