Stadtwerke Halle 10-km-Lauf

Stadtwerke Halle 10-km-Lauf

The shortest timed distance of the day stays in the city. According to the organiser it leaves from the market, runs through Halle’s old town and past the Saline, where the Halloren still boil salt, and takes in many of the city’s sights before returning to the Marktplatz. The limit is ninety minutes. The organiser’s current page lists aid at Talstraße (km 4) and Ziegelwiese (km 7), with water and toilets at Talstraße and full catering on the square.

It is the event’s way in for runners who do not want a half or a full marathon, and a way to be on the square when a friend arrives from Leipzig. Bags go to the Stadthaus during the race, changing rooms and showers are at the Friedrich-List-Schule, and there is free massage after the finish by the Roter Turm on the Marktplatz. Places are ranked on gun time; the certificate shows net time.

This page is about the 2026 10 km. It is short, but the start is crowded and the square is shared with two other finishes, so knowing when a particular runner turns back toward the market is the useful part. On Livebib family and friends open the runner’s shared link in a browser, without an account or an app, and see position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as they run. Where the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of freezing.
