The 33 km is two laps of the 16.5 km loop: riders pass the finish line at the resort and set off again. The organiser calls it a technically fairly easy, low-threshold XC-style ride, but a lap is not flat. It opens with about 400 m of the most technical trail on the course, rocks and roots, then road, path and ski track to the Keurusselkä sports park and a steep first climb of Montosvuori on a narrow, well-surfaced trail.

After the Kolhontie underpass, which is two-way, comes a fast descent behind Montosvuori and a climb back up to the same point. The loop then returns through the tunnel, past the corner of the former Pioneer regiment barracks, out to the lean-to at the tip of Peurunniemi, and climbs Montosvuori a third time on gentler gradients before a long, fast descent and a 200 m disc golf fairway. Twice round, that is six climbs of the same hill. The course is not closed to other users.

Two laps through forest mean long stretches where nobody at the resort sees the rider. With their own Livebib link, opened in a browser without an account or app, family follow the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates lap by lap, marked as an estimate. Where the phone loses signal in the trees the dot is carried forward along the loop and marked estimated rather than stuck in place.
