Endurance Trail

This is the one race of the weekend that is not a loop. Runners collect their briefing in Fieberbrunn and take the shuttle to Kitzbühel, where the start goes one minute before midnight. The first climb is the Hahnenkamm, in the dark, and from there the course follows panoramic trails over the grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps toward the Pillerseetal. The organiser promises a sunrise somewhere along the way, and the last part home runs on the Fieberbrunner Höhenweg.

The key facts on the organiser’s page give 75 kilometres and 4,100 metres. The limit is 18 hours, which closes the finish at Fieberbrunn around 18:00 on Saturday. There are no intermediate cutoffs on the race page, and the aid station plan with food and drink per stop is published as a separate document. It suits a runner who wants a real ultra with a night start but without a second night outside.

This page belongs to the 2027 Endurance Trail. Because the race runs point to point, the people who care are usually at the finish while the runner is somewhere between two towns in the dark.
