Långa Julita Loppet

The lap runs through the estate park, out along Munkleden by Lake Öljaren, past Julita church and Julita school and back to the house, where the second lap begins. Parts of it are narrow trails where passing is hard, so where you line up at the start matters. There is one drinks station on the course and no official time limit.

The 10 km is capped at 150 starts and costs 400 SEK; every finisher gets a medal, and the top three women and men receive 2,500, 1,500 and 1,000 SEK. The 2025 course records are 35:58 by Pontus Buskas and 44:38 by Malin Wallin. Runners can switch to the 5 km up to race day if places remain. This page covers Långa Julita Loppet 2026.

Two laps mean the runner passes the house halfway, and with Livebib the people waiting know when to walk over to the course. The runner shares a link to their broadcast; family open it in a browser, with no account and no app, and see the position on the course line, the distance so far and a finish estimate that updates during the race. If the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of standing still. The runner decides who gets the link.
