Korta Julita Loppet

The 5 km runs the same loop as the 10 km, just once: through the estate park, out along Munkleden by Lake Öljaren, past Julita church and Julita school and back to the finish at Stora huset. Parts of it are narrow trails with limited room, which is why dogs and pushchairs are not allowed. There is one drinks station and no official time limit.

The race is labelled for everyone, capped at 100 starts and costs 400 SEK. Every finisher gets a medal, and the top three women and men receive 2,500, 1,500 and 1,000 SEK. Runners can move up to the 10 km until race day if places remain, and prizes for both distances are given at 12:00. This page covers Korta Julita Loppet 2026.

Over five kilometres everything happens fast, and from the house it is easy to miss the final straight. With Livebib, the runner shares a link to their own broadcast, and family open it in a browser with no account and no app: where on the course the runner is, how far she has come, and a finish estimate that updates while she runs. If the phone loses signal under the trees, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated. The runner decides who gets the link.
