adidas Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival, live.

Five trail distances around Innsbruck, from the Landestheater and Mutters

The adidas Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival runs from 5 to 8 May 2027 and joins the World Trail Majors from this edition.

The longest courses start in the middle of the night on Saturday 8 May from the Landestheater in Innsbruck. The K110 Masters of Innsbruck covers 112.6 km with 5,500 metres of climbing and the K85 Heart of the Alps Ultra covers 86.8 km with 3,880 metres, both from 00:00. The K65 Panorama Ultra Trail over 68.9 km and 2,640 metres starts at 06:00.

The shorter races start in Mutters, just south of the city. New for 2027, the K42 trail marathon over 43.4 km and 2,400 metres moves to Thursday 6 May at 08:30. The K25 trail half marathon over 26.6 km starts on Saturday at 09:30.

The courses climb from the valley floor into the mountains around Innsbruck, and the long races need full alpine experience, night running and solid self care. The K25 and K42 suit trained trail runners who want a first race in high mountains. The festival is organised by Laufwerkstatt.

The K25 runs from Mutters over Birgitz to Kranebitten and up onto the Nordkette. Participants in the K110 and K85 can leave a drop bag with spare shoes, clothes or food, which the organiser takes to an aid station at about half distance.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival.
