Vertical K
One of Scandinavia’s purest vertical challenges, Vertical K takes runners from the cobblestones of Åre square straight up the face of the mountain to the summit cabin of Åreskutan at 1,420 metres. With an unrelenting average gradient exceeding twenty percent, the course moves from ski slopes onto steep rock paths and scrambles past the Hummeln chairlift and the high alpine plateau.
