Ninety-two kilometres from Sälen to Mora along the historic Vasaloppet route, through Mångsbodarna, Evertsberg, Oxberg and Hökberg. In 2026 the course was shortened from ninety-five kilometres and rerouted to spend more of its length on the classic ski trail itself — gravel, forest road and rooty singletrack, with the long false-flat drag through the middle that catches every rider who went out too hard in Sälen.

Three waves leave the arch: the women’s competition class at 08:00, the men’s at 09:00 and the recreational class at 09:15.
