Coast to Coast Two Day

The same 243-kilometre crossing as the Longest Day — the ride inland, the mountain run over Goat Pass, the Waimakariri paddle and the run to the Pacific — split into two stages with a night at Klondyke Corner in the middle. It is the version most competitors do first, and the one that lets a whole family take part in the same event across a weekend.

Splitting the day does not make the Southern Alps any smaller: the Goat Pass leg is the same unmarked river bed and the same weather. This page belongs to the 2027 edition of the Two Day.
