A fast city course through the German capital, ending with the unmistakable run through Brandenburg Gate.

Berlin Marathon covers the full 42.195 kilometres on broad city streets, with its start and finish area on Straße des 17. Juni. The course carries runners through the capital before the final approach through Brandenburg Gate — a landmark that makes the last kilometre instantly recognisable even from a map.
