Härnö Trail Kort 7 km

It begins with easy running on the lit ski track, then narrows onto trail through rock slabs, deep forest and a bog. A few kilometres in, at the wind turbine, the 7 km splits from the longer courses: keep left, and left again about a hundred metres later. A short climb takes it onto Himmelsberget, with no view but stone slabs across the top, then easy sandy paths lead to a short climb to Norra Utsikten and its view over Härnösand, a last climb toward the mast, and the finish in the arena.

The organiser calls it a fitting challenge with only minor technical sections, suitable for young runners, juniors and families. Two or three steeper passages have warning signs and ropes, and wet rock can be very slippery. Aid stands at Mårtensmyran (3.5 km) and Himmelsberget (4.8 km).

A short course still disappears into the forest for most of its length; on Livebib, whoever waits at the arena sees the runner’s position on the line and a finish estimate, with the position carried forward and marked as estimated where the signal drops under the trees.
