The organiser describes one course for the day: through Sandane centre and out along county road FV615 on the south side of Gloppefjorden, on asphalt, with the lowest point at 2 metres above sea level and the highest at 18. For the 10 km they list drinks at 3 and 7 km, juice and water. Parts of the road are closed to traffic during the race and marshals stand along the route, so the whole distance can be run at an even pace without watching for cars.

With barely any climbing, it is a course for a fast 10 km or a first race, and it shares the day with the half marathon’s district championship. The 10 km winners receive prizes, and more are drawn by bib number at the prize-giving from about 16:00. Bibs are collected from 11:00 at Heradshuset in the centre, and changing rooms and showers in Trivselshallen are about 200 metres from the start. There is a kiosk in the event area, and parking at Trivselshallen, Gloppen ungdomsskule or in the centre.
