Challenge Peguera Mallorca, live.

Four laps of the Peguera seafront

A middle-distance triathlon that starts on a beach, climbs into the hills behind it and comes back to run four times past the finish.

Challenge Peguera Mallorca is a middle-distance triathlon — 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 21.1 km run — in Peguera, in the municipality of Calvià on Mallorca’s south-west coast, organised by Fundación Calvià. The 2026 race is on Saturday 17 October, raced individually or as a relay, and entries are sold out. The week around it adds a Dimonis fire parade, a women’s 4 km run and a junior aquathlon.

The swim is two 950 m out-and-back loops from Torà beach, with a run across the sand between them. The bike is two 45 km laps: inland through Es Capdellà and Calvià on a winding road with short, steep climbs — about 500 metres of it in that stretch, by the organiser’s figure — then back towards the coast past El Toro, Santa Ponça and Costa de la Calma, a faster second half. The run is four laps of a 5,150 m circuit in central Peguera, alternating the boulevard and the seafront promenade by Torà, Els Morts and La Romana beaches. The finish is the square where the beach meets the boulevard.

With Livebib the athlete shares one link; family and friends open it in a browser, no account and no app, and see the position on the course, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates during the race. Four run laps past the same square are easier to read with the distance next to them, and if the phone loses signal in the hills behind Calvià the position moves on along the road, marked as estimated.
