This Policy explains what content is and isn’t allowed on Livebib, how moderation works, how to report problems, and — importantly — how we approach safety around live location broadcasting. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Livebib is a live broadcast platform for endurance and outdoor athletes operated by Kavod AB (Muskötvägen 17B, 184 60 Åkersberga, Sweden; hello@livebib.com).

1. Our Approach

Livebib is built around publicly broadcast, real-time location. That makes safety and respectful behavior essential. We expect everyone — runners, viewers, commenters, and crew/moderators — to act lawfully and considerately. We provide tools to manage broadcasts and reserve the right to remove content and accounts that break these rules.

2. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

The following are not allowed on Livebib:

• Harassment and bullying — targeting, intimidating, or repeatedly contacting someone against their wishes.
• Hate speech — content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
• Threats and incitement to violence — including threats against a runner or any other person.
• Illegal content — content that is unlawful under applicable Swedish, EU, or local law, including content that depicts or facilitates crime.
• Doxxing and privacy violations — publishing private information about a person (home address, contact details, identity) without consent, or using location features to track, follow, or endanger someone.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child endangerment — strictly prohibited and reported to authorities as required by law.
• Sexual content involving non-consent, exploitation, or minors.
• Spam, scams, and fraud — including misleading charity claims or fraudulent support links (a runner’s personal support link must be their own and honestly described).
• Impersonation — pretending to be another person or organization.
• Malware, hacking, and platform abuse — disrupting or attacking the Service or other users.

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. We may act on content that violates the spirit of these rules.

3. How Moderation Works

3.1 Runner-level moderation

• A runner controls their own broadcast and can hide or delete comments and block users on their page.
• A runner may delegate crew or moderators — trusted account holders who can hide/delete comments and block users on the runner’s behalf. The runner remains responsible for delegated actions.

3.2 Platform-level moderation

• Livebib reserves the right to review, hide, restrict, or remove any content, and to suspend or terminate accounts, where we believe content or conduct violates this Policy, the Terms, or the law — with or without prior notice, depending on severity.
• We may act proactively (including automated detection) or in response to reports.
• We may preserve and disclose information to law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by law.

We are not obligated to monitor all content and cannot guarantee that we will detect or remove every violation.

4. Reporting

Anyone — including viewers without an account — can report content or behavior that may violate this Policy.

• Use the in-product report/flag controls where available, or
• Email abuse@livebib.com with details: the broadcast or user, a description, and any links or screenshots.

For urgent safety threats (for example, someone using a live broadcast to locate and threaten a person), mark the report as urgent and, if there is an immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Livebib is not an emergency service.

We aim to review reports promptly and prioritize those involving safety, illegal content, or minors. Reporters may receive an acknowledgment and, where appropriate, an update on the outcome.

5. Safety — Live Location Broadcasting (Read This)

Broadcasting your real-time location publicly is the heart of Livebib and carries genuine risks, including stalking and physical harm. Please take these seriously.

5.1 Risks

• Anyone viewing your broadcast — including people you don’t know and people without an account — may see where you are in real time, and can infer where you live, train, or routinely go.
• Bad actors could use this to locate, follow, ambush, or harass you.

5.2 Tools we provide

• Privacy zones: configure zones (for example, around your home or workplace) where your location is masked or hidden. Use them. They reduce risk but are not a guarantee.
• Start/stop control: you decide when to broadcast.
• Block and report: block abusive users and report dangerous behavior.

5.3 Advice for runners

• Set up privacy zones before your first broadcast; cover home, work, and any place you don’t want exposed.
• Avoid broadcasting fixed daily routines from your front door.
• Be cautious about sharing your broadcast link with strangers.
• Tell a trusted person your real plans separately — do not rely on Livebib to keep you safe.
• Stop broadcasting if you feel unsafe, and contact emergency services if you are in danger.

5.4 Not an emergency or safety service

Livebib does not monitor broadcasts for emergencies, cannot detect that you are in danger, and cannot dispatch help. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

6. Minors

• Livebib is not intended for users under 16 (or the applicable minimum age of digital consent, if higher), and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts — this is especially important given live location tracking.
• Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors is strictly prohibited and will be removed and reported to authorities as required.
• If you believe a minor is using the Service or is depicted unsafely, report it to abuse@livebib.com.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity, context, and history, we may:

• Remove, hide, or restrict content.
• Issue a warning.
• Limit features (for example, commenting or broadcasting).
• Suspend or permanently terminate accounts.
• Restrict location features or revoke crew/moderator delegation.
• Report to law enforcement where required or appropriate.

We aim to apply enforcement proportionately, but reserve the right to act immediately on serious safety or legal risks.

8. Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting hello@livebib.com within 14 days, explaining why. We will review appeals reasonably and respond. Where applicable law (such as the EU Digital Services Act) grants additional rights — including statements of reasons and access to out-of-court dispute settlement — those rights apply in addition to this process.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
