The weather where the runner is
The weather on the map is measured where the runner is right now, and the temperature is what it feels like there.
The weather box on the map
The big number is “feels like”: the temperature adjusted for height, wind, sun and rain. “air” is the air temperature. Tap the box for wind, gusts, rain, cloud and humidity.
“forecast”, “at the start” and “when tracking began”
- “forecast”: the race has not started, so this is the forecast for the start.
- “at the start”: the race is over, so you see the weather as it was at the start.
- “when tracking began”: the weather from the first position, before there was a live one.
The sky on the map
Clouds, rain, wind, sunset and night on the map follow the real weather and light at the runner. The sun and the moon sit where they really are in the sky.
Weather along the way
Under “Stats”, “Weather along the way” shows how the temperature has felt through the race, with the warmest and coldest moment and the strongest wind.
